Four years ago today, Joey and I went on our first date and shared our first kiss under that great oak tree where he would soon propose and where we said our vows two years later. Some people think that once you’re married there’s no reason to celebrate the anniversary of when you started dating anymore, but I disagree. That’s the night my fairy tale began; realizing you’ve finally ended up with your soul mate is an unforgettable experience that deserves a celebration just as much as the anniversary of a wedding! We’re going out for pizza because that’s one of the best ways to celebrate anything, and because that’s what we did on our first date.

This Monday we’ll celebrate our two year wedding anniversary. We’ve got no set plans other than enjoying each other and going to visit our tree. All three of us.
