32 and Counting
I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and there’s only 4 to go until I’m full term. Pretty incredible!
Jonah’s nursery is nearly done. We have some finishing touches before we start posting photos, but we are both very happy with it. There is no theme; instead it combines all of our favorite things like trains, dinosaurs, books, dots, robots, and Snoopy. We wanted it to have the feel...

The Final Countdown
Well, maybe we aren’t at the final countdown quite yet, but my third trimester has officially begun! I can’t even believe it’s getting so close. We have been getting ready to start painting the nursery and getting everything set up all week. Once that’s done, it will be time to just relax as much as is humanly (or should I say pregnantly) possible and wait for the big day....

Pregnancy Thoughts - 20 Weeks
I am just about at the 20 week mark—that’s halfway to the finish line! I am hoping the next 20 weeks will go more quickly than the first. I’ve got two weddings, the holidays, and some work deadlines between now and then, so I am hoping those events will all help time go by quickly.
Since my last post we found out we are definitely having a boy. I suspected it from the very...

Harold and the Purple Crayon
Corduroy
Curious George - various
Where the Wild Things Are
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Goodnight Moon
Blueberries for Sal

10.07.11
Four years ago today, Joey and I went on our first date and shared our first kiss under that great oak tree where he would soon propose and where we said our vows two years later. Some people think that once you’re married there’s no reason to celebrate the anniversary of when you started dating anymore, but I disagree. That’s the night my fairy tale began; realizing...

Random Babblings on Pregnancy
Just thought I’d do some random pregnancy blogging for posterity’s sake. My main thought on pregnancy so far is that everything about it is harder and different than I expected. Trust me, I never thought it would be easy, but I guess it’s one of those things you can’t imagine until you’ve experienced it for yourself.
I started getting morning sickness almost...

Self-Review
At the beginning of the year I did something I don’t usually do; I made a list of “plans” for 2011. I normally don’t like making goals because I feel like it just sets me up to be disappointed in myself, so I am sure that’s why I chose the word “plans” instead. I thought it would be interesting to revisit this list and see how I’m doing 3/4 through...
